Yes. All on-site inspections and quotes are provided at no cost.
We assess the property in person and give a clear scope of work and accurate pricing.
How is the project timeline determined?
We provide a detailed schedule before starting the job.
The timeline is based on site size, condition (patching/prep), weather, and accessibility.
Can you paint while we are living in the home?
Yes, absolutely.
We use low-odour products, manage dust carefully, and fully cover furniture to minimise disruption.
We also offer flexible scheduling to suit your routine.
Which paint brands do you use?
We primarily use Dulux Professional, with Taubmans and Wattyl available depending on site requirements. Eco-friendly, low-VOC products are also available upon request.
What is the process for exterior painting?
Our standard exterior workflow includes:
- High-pressure washing
- Crack and surface repairs
- Primer (sealer/undercoat)
- 2–3 coats of UV- and weather-resistant paint
We follow a strict process to ensure long-lasting durability.
Do you repair water damage or cracks?
Yes. JMS specialises in patch repairs, crack restoration, and water-damage recovery.
We also provide stain-blocking, moisture checks, and cause analysis where needed.
How do you protect furniture and floors during painting?
All furniture, floors, and fixtures are protected using premium drop sheets, plastic covers, and masking.
Our team completes a full clean-up at the end of each workday and upon completion.
What are your working hours?
Our standard hours are 7AM–5PM, Monday to Friday.
For commercial or strata projects, night or weekend work is available by arrangement.
Do you offer a workmanship guarantee?
Yes. All painting work is covered by our quality workmanship guarantee.
If any issues arise after completion, simply contact us—we’ll take care of it promptly.
What are the payment options?
Depending on project size, payment is structured as Deposit + Progress + Final Payment.
Invoices are issued with GST included.
We accept both cards and bank transfers.
All terms are clearly outlined in the quote.
Do you handle strata and commercial projects?
Yes. We have extensive experience working with building managers, owners, and tenants.
We manage scheduling, safety, noise control, and site access professionally from start to finish.
Can you help with colour selection?
Yes. We provide professional colour consultation based on lighting, flooring, and interior styling.
Dulux or Taubmans sample boards can be arranged on request.
Do you offer Venetian Plaster or Microcement finishes?
Yes. Our specialist team applies premium finishes, including Venetian Plaster, Microcement, and other high-end decorative systems.
