We perform all work to a standard higher than the industry norm. We maintain that 70% of a successful paint job lies in the preparation. Therefore, patching, sanding, priming, and finishing are managed with the highest standard to guarantee superior durability.

Meet the Team
James Jin
Director / Project Manager
Founder and General Manager, James is responsible for the overall quality management, site inspection, quotation, colour/material consulting, and direct client communication for all projects.
Youngsun Yun
Finance & Administration Manager
Manages company operations, financial systems, documentation, insurance, and contracts, ensuring seamless internal and external communication and project administration.
Senior Painting Team
A core group of experienced painters (10+ years). They specialise in detailed Interior/Exterior painting, fundamental patch-up work, and meticulous preparation (Prep Master).

Our History
2010
JMS Painting & Decorating was established, focusing on residential and small commercial projects in Sydney.
2011 - 2021
Solidified our base in Sydney’s residential market and expanded our services into the commercial and strata sectors.
2022
Established strategic supplier relationships and purchasing partnerships with major paint manufacturers, including Dulux and Taubmans.
2023
Built and launched the specialised Special Finish Team, incorporating high-end skills for Venetian Plaster and Microcement applications.
2024 - present
Expanded partnerships with large builders and strata corporations, cementing our presence in the North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, and Inner West. We continue to research and integrate new specialised coating technologies.
